1. Transmedia storytelling is important in digital convergence because the story and the marketing become intertwined. This is to say that consumers are accessing different content on different media, however all of that content is specific to one story. 2. Media business can benefit from transmedia storytelling for a number of reasons. One being a way of keeping audiences engaged even when the show is not in season. This also creates multiple entry points for new consumers to access. 3.
