1. Transmedia storytelling is important in digital convergence because the story and the marketing become intertwined. This is to say that consumers are accessing different content on different media, however all of that content is specific to one story. 2. Media business can benefit from transmedia storytelling for a number of reasons. One being a way of keeping audiences engaged even when the show is not in season. 1. The pre-literate acoustic was not widely accessible. The alphabetical visual world is easily remade and  mass produced, where the preliterate acoustic world required skill and work to be created.  2. The alphabet had segregating tendencies because it could not be known universally because  it could not be seen at more than one place at the same time. It also took time and effort to recreate  the alphabet. The printing press reverses these tendencies by being able to print many more copies  of the alphabet  3. The alphabetic communication in online communication makes cyberspace acoustic  because it is easy to interact with anywhere in the world day and night.  The availability to interact was greater, and consumers opinions could be considered.   4. Social Media Ruining Election & Blogging Politics and Social Change

1.   Twitter is not helpful in building healthy political discourse. According to   the author, it is “antithetical to sophisticated, thoughtful political   conversation.” Why?   At its core, Twitter is a messaging service allowing users (who can remain anonymous) to tweet out in only 140 words whatever information they want. The anonymous nature allows for false information and inaccuracy that can create a larger disconnect. The conversations are also very limited and do not need to be continued or agreed on. These conversations are important to resolve in politics, but Twitter does not allow the conversation or the resolution occur in some situations.e   2.   The spokeswoman of twitter thinks social media democratized political conversation.
